Writing-PAD
- The WritingPAD
(i.e. Writing Purposefully in Art & Design) is a UK-based, 3 year, £250k HEFCE funded) project.
- Goldsmiths College was the lead institution.
- It also worked in close association with Central St. Martins' College of Art, UoA and the Royal College of Art).
- Over 40 universities are now members of the network.

The Design and Language (d+L) group
- The Design and Language Research Group was was initiated in 2004.
- Its founders are a group of academics and designers.
- Its aim is to explore the way language influences and informs the outcomes of design.

Designing Conference Design (DCD)
- At present (June 2005) Designing Conference Design is a closed group of four members.
