- First we should ask 'what is design synergy?... because that is one of our goals
- Philosophers such as Kant made a clear distinction between the phenomenal
and the noumenal
- Following this artificial categorization, where information is phenomenal, data is noumenal
- The idea of data-sharing synergy derived from Peter Corning's work
